Twilight

I knew the day would come when I would be sick of Twilight.

I'm not sick of the BOOK series yet, per se, but hell. Where the books take place and the movie locations, they can just go die.

Kidding. Totally kidding.
Forks is a lovely teeny tiny town with overpriced merchandise, La Push is beautiful and cold and super small and Jacob's "house" doesn't look at all how I pictured it, and Port Angeles has a few cool shops, and is just kind of chill.
Oh, and you can see Canada from there. Literally. I pointed and said "what mountains are those?" "Canadian mountains."

NOW. St. Helens, Oregon (movie!Port Angeles) is adorable. I bought a dress from the store that supplied the prom dresses that Anna Kendrick and Christian Serratos tried on, and we walked past the store where they filmed the scene, which is actually a nail salon. It's cute though, they have a couple of the movie set chairs that say "Twilight" on the back and have a copy of the movie poster on the door. Cardboard cutouts of Kristen Stewart are everywhere, and these little ten year olds freaked out and started screaming "BELLA! BELLA!" when they saw them.

Kalama High School (movie!Forks High School) is a high school. On top of a very steep hill. Tyler, the kid who almost kills Bella, he was entering through an exit. Because he's stupid and drives a ghetto van. I stood where the Cullens had stood, felt cool, and that was it.

It's so weird actually GOING to a location where they filmed a movie. It makes the world seem so much smaller and weird and I don't know.

They played Thriller all day today.
RIP MJ.

Yeah. Don't know what else to tell you.

xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo ;)
