College

Can I just say how proud of myself I am that I have all of my stuff for my dorm room and I don't start college until fall 2010?

I have . . . 
  • a cover for my comforter, from IKEA, and it's a bunch of flowers that look like they're dancing across my bed.
  • sheets for said bed. I have a grey jersey sheet, and then white sheets with flowers on them. 
  • An awesome pillow. It's red, quilted, made in India (got it from my church's fair trade store) and some of the patches say "peace" in different languages on it. 
  • my mom is knitting me a blanket, that's a sky blue. "Legs in sky blue stockings climbing over the lecture podium" :) That's what it reminds me of.
  • A blanket that I got from the Stillwater Public Schools Indian Association, and it's very tribal, and reminds me of HAIR.
I've already decided that I'll be the awesome girl with mixed patterns on the fine arts floor who blasts Spring Awakening and HAIR all the time in the morning. I'm so excited about all the pictures I'll have as well. It's going to be amazing.

I'm excited for college. But it's going to have to wait. I need to live first.

    2. I feel so sorry for the people on your floor that aren't cool enough to appreciate how amazing you are, but I am sure you will be able to convert them with your blasting of Spring Awakening and Hair :)
    3. I can't wait to visit you!! And you'll come and visit me as well, of course! Now I'm going to go plan my dorm room... thanks for giving me another reason to procrastinate packing :)
